It’s been about nine and a half years since I stopped drinking. These days, I’m confident in my sobriety. Not only do I know that I can resist a drink, but it’s been years since I’ve felt tempted to drink in the first place.
Long gone are the days of constantly craving alcohol. Sobriety is something that I still think about, but it no longer feels like a burden. I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I simply have no desire to drink alcohol.
But what if I were to drink alcohol by mistake?
